Beginning with Office 365 for Nonprofit around 2014 and continuing with #Microsoft365 Business Premium for #Nonprofit and Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 for Nonprofit, efforts to enhance the productivity and infrastructure of Korean nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations with cloud-native and chip-to-cloud security are ongoing. In particular, with the introduction of remote work and work-from-home systems five years ago, the number of Korean nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations attempting digital transformation and AI transformation through Microsoft 365 has rapidly increased. As a technology expert and former social activist in the education movement, I support NGOs and NPOs in their change management from both strategic and engineering perspectives. Since 2023, I have been working with the Seoul Social Workers Association (SASW) and the Community Chest of Korea to implement new M365 tenants or reconfigure existing ones for over 20 organizations. Since NGOs/NPOs adopted Cloud-Native & Chip-to-Cloud Security through M365 for Nonprofit, they have dramatically reduced the number of device management cases. Specifically, they've reduced the number of cases where devices need to be taken out of the organization for repairs. Furthermore, with the introduction of appropriate Windows 11 Pro-based commercial devices, including Microsoft Surface, device security has also been seamlessly implemented. More importantly, I've been able to significantly reduce the number of on-site visits to remote NGOs/NPOs, and when necessary, I've been able to provide rapid technical support donations using Microsoft Teams and Remote Help. Korean nonprofits often lack a strong understanding of infrastructure, and managing on-premise solutions for productivity and security is particularly challenging. I'm very satisfied that M365 for Nonprofit and Surface for Nonprofit, with their Cloud-Native & Chip-to-Cloud Security, can address this issue. #WindowsandDevice #SurfaceMVP #SurfaceforIT #Microsoft365forNonprofit #SurfaceforNonprofit #MVPBUZZ
