Happy Friday devs! 🎉 As you head into the weekend, here’s a small ask with a big impact: Help shape the future of developer experience at HubSpot. ✨ Advent of Code season is here and Developer Advocate Brooke Bond is tackling all 12 days using the HubSpot Developer Platform. It’s a great look at how flexible the new platform is for real-world building and even for holiday puzzle-solving. ⬇️ Check out the full details below ⬇️ #HubSpotDevelopers
🎄 Happy Advent of Code to all who celebrate! This is my first time participating, and to make it more fun, I've decided to use the HubSpot for Developers Developer Platform to solve the 12 days of puzzles. The first day was really fun to set up, and I got use the new app home to create a sleek UI to help you solve the puzzles. My backend is just a local Express backend, but it does the job and lets me show off using hubspot.fetch() and connecting your backend to your HubSpot apps. Thanks to Eric Wastl and team for inspiring the Developer community to come together during this time of year, can't wait to complete all 12 days! Also, if you're new to BYOB to the HubSpot Developer Platform, check out our on-demand webinar we did last month, featuring myself, Hannah Seligson, and Vercel DX Engineer Jacob Paris! 👀 New #HubSpot Public API. If your app infrastructure is hit with webhooks from portals that ran a free trial or expired customers, HubSpot just solved your problem! Pete Nicholls CF APMP was seeing zombies last year and not just any zombies mind you! "zombie webhooks roaming the planet from dead portals that do not reply" Previously Pete could reach out to customers individually to request they uninstall an app ... and then pray. Now he can programatically remove inactive or unused installs directly from his systems. This maintains cleaner data, reduces unnecessary API traffic, and ensures usage of HubDo's apps DoCurrencies and DoCPQ accurately reflects active customer relationships. Great Solve for App Partners! Read about it in product updates: Public API for Uninstalling Customers from an App Kyle Jepson, Karen Ng, Brian Gorbett, Daniel Jacobson, Steve Laham, Sarah Jane (SJ) Morris, Jennifer Nixon, Dennis Edson, Brooke Bond, Daniel Currin, Jonas De Mets, James Fyfe, James Byrne, Matt Bolian ⚡, Tom Chen, Bryan R., Nick Telson-Sillett, James Elmer,

Just graduated from HubSpot Academy’s CRM Customization Bootcamp for Developers – Fall 2025! 🎉 Six weeks of pure, hands-on developer firepower: ✔️ Building custom CRM UI extensions with React (custom cards, custom tabs, timeline actions, association views) ✔️ Creating serverless functions & external data source integrations ✔️ Deep-diving into CRM APIs, webhooks, and workflow extensions ✔️ Real-world projects that now live in production portals The result? I can now transform any HubSpot instance from “out-of-the-box” to “built-exactly-for-you” – making reps and ops teams faster, happier, and more effective without ever leaving the CRM. If your team is frustrated with rigid standard objects, scattered external data, or clunky workarounds, let’s fix that. Happy to show what fully custom CRM experiences look like in 2025. Fellow Fall 2025 devs – who else just survived the final project crunch? Drop a 🔥 below! #HubSpotDeveloper #CRMCustomization #CustomCRM #React #HubSpotCertified #HubSpotAPI

What's the difference between a company's mission and vision? Here's how I think about it... A mission states who the company is, what it is pursuing and why. It's describes what is (hopefully) happening *today*. A vision describes where the company is going, what direction it's moving and where it aspires to be in the *future*. For example, HubSpot's mission is to "help millions grow better". So, everything we do can be connected back to that mission. The products we build, the underlying platform it uses, our partner ecosystem, HubSpot Academy, our free tools, Agent.ai, our INBOUND conference...everything. It's all in service of that core mission of helping millions grow better. So, what's our VISION? Candidly, we're currently iterating on it. With the advent of AI, we think we can be more aspirational and set a higher bar in terms of what we can accomplish.

All the greats elevate their game. Why shouldn't you? "But Nick, how would I do that, and why are you messaging me again?" you might ask. To answer your question: Use the Elevate Theme from HubSpot. (And 37 messages is totally not a lot.) We had the amazing opportunity to speak with members of the team who created the Elevate Theme (Sakura Stout (Lim), BJ Szyjakowski, and Brandon Van Dyck). From design to functionality, we dived into what makes this new theme by HubSpot your go-to when creating a website. Check out the episode in the comments below. And yes, expect more messages from me! #devsafterdark #HubSpot #developers #themes #Elevate
