We’re going to devcom in August! Our Charity Director, Sarah, will be delivering a talk on navigating uncertainty, and we’re getting prepared by having a look back at one of our favourite sessions from #ddc2023. Tülay McNally of Scopely delivered ‘Developers are Human, Too’ at devcom 2023. Her words impress the importance of the mental health conversation, and calls for organisations to make this a priority. Of the talk, Tülay said: “Mental health is often still treated as a topic that is not prioritized until it's almost too late. Organizations like Safe in Our World are needed to provide support frameworks whether you are an employer or an employee, to help remove barriers and destigmatize the importance of self-care.
