Why I think Infosys is one of the best regarded companies in the world

It’s been a month since the announcement and the news is still fresh - Infosys has been ranked at number 3 on 2019 Forbes list of the World’s Best Regarded Companies. One might ask what this means for the company, its stakeholders, and employees? Evidently, this has evoked sentiments of pride, achievement and so much more. Personally, I feel a sense of contentment and honor to be part of the Infosys family. 

Being a renowned corporation in the IT services industry through the years, I remember Infosys caught my attention several years ago for the rapid strides it was making in technologies indispensable today. I imagined what would it be like to join an enterprise of such a stature, what would it be like to collaborate with the bright minds, would the scope of work in such a company enhance my professional experience, and most of all, I pondered what the culture of Infosys would be.

Merely one and a half years into my job as a marketing professional at Infosys while being in the profession of over 11 years, I can say without a doubt that the journey at Infosys has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride. Working here not only brings out the best in you, it also makes you feel confident to achieve what lies ahead.

At Infosys, you are bound to explore the countless opportunities that are not just exciting and brimming with knowledge, but are presented to groom you into a leader. And while you may be deep into your work to ensure you deliver quality work to the clients, what makes it all worthwhile is our team behind us and the camaraderie we share with them. I have definitely found this to be true in my team and all the other teams across the marketing floor. Teams are eager to assist, they hear you out, help you brainstorm, take work breaks over tea/coffee with you, and more, making each day fulfilling at Infosys.

The Forbes’ list rated companies on trustworthiness, honesty, social conduct, fairness to employees, and the performance of products and services. Infosys successfully moved from number 31 in 2018 list to number 3 this year, leaving me feeling ecstatic to be an Infoscion!
