Seatruck Lego record?

Seatruck Lego record?

At Seatruck Ferries we love a challenge and seeing the largest ever Lego Ship, built by DFDS, using over 1 million Lego bricks, gave us an idea to go even bigger.

Unfortunately our great idea rapidly died as quickly as it had been born as we started to investigate the full cost implications of our concept. However being able to change and adapt is a key attribute in business and so we quickly came up with an alternative plan.

So Ladies and Gentlemen (huge drum roll) may I present, after almost 6.5 minutes work, an entirely inaccurate Lego model of the Seatruck P Class vessel. Expertly crafted from 6 pieces of Lego and a cotton ear bud, the model, at just 55mm in length, is quite probably the ‘Smallest Ever’ Lego Ship!

There is obviously a huge buzz around the office and already both Legoland Denmark and the Maritime Museum in Greenwich have expressed absolutely no interest whatsoever in displaying the model.

The Guinness Book of records are yet to 100% certify the achievement but in a short telephone conversation commented ‘we presume you are joking?’

So long as the franking machine is working and I can find a padded envelope, the model will soon commence a tour around the 4 Seatruck terminals for all to see.....

......OK, so on reflection maybe Lego is not our thing….instead we will concentrate on what we do best, running the fastest growing ferry operation on the Irish Sea.

Enjoy your day!

A great antidote to the usual biggest-whatever-out-of-Lego boast. Nice one.

Well you could build 170.000 of them then I am sure you would get to claim that you have the worlds biggest fleet and get in the record book...but absolutely cool challenge pick up...respect :-)
