Professional Training Scam - how they do it - read below

I was contacted about a project management job that I should've known was too good to be true. He said a company shortlisted me for a job opportunity besides the fact that I didn't have the required experience and certifications *** EXCEPT THAT, of course, they were willing to accept me so long as I was IN training for my ITIL certification then they could look past it. They use SCRUM and PMP as other certifications too.

Company is http://www.nityo.com/ Nityo Infotech US number is disconnected and allegedly International

The training website they set up is http://www.mylearningcube.com/ this looks like a real site however, they prompt you to setup a paypal account and also add in a dollar account. Essentially you can add in any dollar amount the person that phones you tell you too. They go on to ask you to send them a confirmation when you send payment, that when I hung up.

Here is additional information I uncovered on facebook -- Facebook Article

I think it is important to share with Professionals that are looking to better their careers and add diversity and training to their Tool Bag.

They won't stop emailing me the same job posting every day, even after I clicked unsubscribe and called them and they promised to stop.

I got hit up by Nityo Infotech last week. They kept trying to hurry me on information they requested. For example, yesterday, they sent me a form to fill requesting about 20 different pieces of information. About 45 minutes later, they contacted me asking me why I hadn't gotten the information to them. I told them I would get it to them by tomorrow. This morning, I was contacted by them saying they were still waiting for the information from me. I told them I was at work and told them I wouldn't be able to get it to them until this evening. Very pushy and insistent. I reached out to a coding community I'm part of on Slack and asked if they thought it was legit or if they were just trying to scrape information. Four people responded saying it was a scam. They're preying on job candidates, and, unfortunately some of us job candidates are kind of in desperation mode to get employed, so we're more likely to respond to it than others. It's unfortunate that they are very dishonest and are very inhumane and don't care about their victims. Why they are allowed to advertise positions on LinkedIn is beyond me. I'm not holding LinkedIn responsible for their fraud and perhaps LinkedIn's policies don't prevent operations like theirs.

Just got contacted by them, an Indian HH supposedly based in Hong Kong. Same copy and paste questions than many other "recruiters" with the same nationality. Very frustrating. Also I was in a very similar situation (contacted for a job that required a certification I didn't have) months ago, this time the guy was from Eastern Europe. It seems that LinkedIn is full of scammers these days. All of them horrible English. I guess that should be the first and last red flag when dealing with them.
