At our core, BECU is about the members.  We are a member owned not for profit.  Everything we do is to enhance the member experience - whether it's building the Money Manager tool in online banking or creating internal systems that allow our employees the ability to support the members.

As the fourth largest credit union in the nation, we want to lead the industry in the technology that is utilized by our members and employees.  Our goal is to take best practices from other industries and utilize them to leapfrog the competition in financial services.  

BECU is becoming agile!  As a financial services company we have traditionally used the waterfall methodology.  As we grow our company we realized that bringing Scrum and agile through processes will allow us deliver business solutions more quickly.

We are in the midst of expanding our IT team in order to face all of these challenges.  Come be a part of a growing team where you voice won't be lost in the crowd.  Leave your mark while delighting our members.  Some of the key roles we are hiring for include Software Development, Disaster Recovery, Systems Engineering, Asset Management, Information Security, Business Analyst, and Enterprise Data Management.

It's not a 40 hour work week every week at BECU.  But it's also not a 60-80 hour work week every week.  A core piece of BECU's culture is work/life balance and involvement in the community.  We want you to have balance - we want you to be working at a sustainable pace.
