I like my job, I love where I work and I enjoy the people I work with and for at Infosys. I feel it is all a blessing. I know that every day I am growing and becoming a better person. So, I am not surprised the company is ranked numbers three on Forbes’ list of World’s Best Regarded Companies.

I enjoy working for Infosys for a number of reasons. One reason is how working here drives me to want to aim for more in life. Before joining Infosys, I did my research and realized I would be working for a vice president in the largest headquarters. I joined the corporate world three years ago, and I have learned so much in that time. I started my career supporting two wonderful managers as their executive assistant. I have learned to multi task better, prepare reports along with financial statements and handle all the duties necessary for the position. My hard work was rewarded with new opportunities to grow with new managers and more duties.

Another reason I feel Infosys’ rank as a well-regarded company makes sense is because of the atmosphere I get to work in delightful environment. The new hub sparks energy and is very inviting. I get to work in an open space that is bright and has a family-like atmosphere. While this may seem like an odd reason to enjoy work, it helps motivate me because I work around others with different goals. With an open floor plan, I get to see everyone each day. We have large windows with a beautiful view. There is a large outdoor courtyard where events are held and it brings all Infosys employees together. The company even offers Indian food, along with healthy food in the cafeteria. It is fun to come to work.

The people who I work around are a big part of why I feel this company is so well regarded. Each and every employee is pitching in their part to make this company stand. I look at my colleagues as part of a giant family. I get to work around IT professionals, journalists, economist, consultants and others with fun jobs. I learn from each of them daily. The learning path goes both directions. I have the opportunity to teach them as well. I feel my work is important when I am helping others learn what I already know. I also work for a company like Infosys because I feel like I have freedom to share my opinion and my VP’s encourage my curiosity about learning. While we all have different jobs duties, we are all in a working environment that helps us all work toward a common goal of uplifting Infosys.  

As I have witnessed over the years, Infosys has the need for speed type of a deal as the company is reaching its most peak milestones, but it is so much more than that as an employer. Infosys lives by its motto: Navigate Your Next. This new logo is a way to keep current and future employees driving forward. So the ranking is perfect.
