USAID and FHI 360 are bringing together entrepreneurs, innovators, development organizations, technology providers, donors, and governments for a two-day Harnessing the Data Revolution for Resilience Summit in Bangkok, Thailand on May 10th and 11th, 2016. This Summit will catalyze a dialogue focused on harnessing the power of digital data to transform the design, implementation, and monitoring of international development programs to support resilience capacities at various scales. It will highlight both existing case studies and promising new approaches that use advances in data and technology to build resilience. Real-­time data, open data, big data, citizen-generated data, innovative sensor technology, and other opportunities will be highlighted as tools that governments, development practitioners, and others can harness to maximize the impact of their investments.

The overall objectives of the Summit are to:
