Breathing is an important process in life and due to that, it is extremely important that we breathe in fresh and clean air.

People usually underestimate the advantages of clean air environment unless they are located in a very heavily air polluted area such as the Asia region.

As a result, the importance of having clean air environment is being taken lightly here and if you are one of them, here are the benefits that you can gain from having a fresh and clean air.

#1. Reduced Allergies and Asthma Symptoms

Looking from the negative perspective, contaminated air have a high risk of triggering asthma and allergies.

Therefore, if we can get rid of these contaminated air and replaced with fresh and clean air, we certainly could reduce allergies and asthma symptoms.

#2. Better your blood pressure

Researchers have reason to believe that the exposure to air pollution are associated with the development of high blood pressure.

With this, if you have a problem with blood pressure, you should do your best to stay in clean surrounding that gives you clean air to breathe in order to protect yourself against high blood pressure.

#3. Cleaner Lungs

Every breathe you take will inhale air surrounding you.

If the air that you inhale is contaminated, it will certainly contaminate your lungs as well.

On the other hand if you breathe in clean air, you will resulted in cleaner lungs.

#4. Longer Life Span

Studies show that clean air environment is equivalent to longer life.

Whatever you breathe into your respiration system, it goes to your entire body.

Therefore, if you breathe in contaminated air, it will contaminate your respiration system.

As a result, in order to achieve a longer life span, it is vital to have clean air environment.

#5. Improved productivity

For your information, the brain takes around twenty percent of the body’s oxygen and this element comes from the air that an individual breathe.

The quality of the air counts here and one of the benefits of clean air to your brain is that it makes an individual more energetic, better concentration and sharper mind.

With these benefits in place, it directly improved the productivity of that individual.

#6. Better sleep

When it comes to sleeping, air quality plays a very important role.

The only thing that one individual would do during his sleeping time is breathing and the source of breathing is obviously the air.

Hence, poor air quality will lead to poor sleep quality which will lead to the next issue (#7) below.

This point is backed by a study from Harvard School of Public Health.

In conclusion, if you want to have a better sleep quality, you will need a better air quality.

#7. Better Immune System

One of the key element that cause a human immune system to break is the invasion of bacteria and viruses.

Contaminated air usually contains lots of bacteria and viruses which will start invading an individual’s immune system once they start inhaling them.

To sum up, if one wants a better immune system, stay away from contaminated air by having a clean and fresh air environment.

#8. Improved Digestion

In a human digestion system, the respiratory system is one important part to ensure the digestion process is smooth flowing.

Having clean and fresh air flowing into the human body will boost the functionality of the digestion system to break food apart and move them along the entire human body.

This is why when an individual is exposed to clean and fresh air, he is more likely to have a better digestion compared to the individuals who are exposed to contaminated air.

#9. Improved Mood

Serotonin is a chemical in the human body which is sometimes referred to as the happy chemical, because it contributes to well being and happiness.

The way this chemical works is that the levels of this chemical will increase as the amount of clean and fresh oxygen inhaled which promotes a sense of happiness in one individual.

As the fresh air leaves the body, the person will feel refreshed, revitalized and relaxed.

However, this does not work the same to air that are contaminated where the level of Serotonin will not increase due to polluted air.

In conclusion, in order for person to be in a good mood, that person will need to be in a clean and fresh air environment.

#10. Lower medical cost

Last but not least, when a person intake clean air all the time, it ensure the health of the person is healthy.

This indirectly lower the medical cost of one individual as a healthy person does not need to spend on medical expenses.

At the end of the day, breathing in clean and fresh air is the key to a healthy lifestyle and that is pretty much what everyone wants.

If you want to have not just longer life, but happy and comfortable as well, keep the air surrounding you as clean as you can.
