A Game of Thrones Spin on the Social Media Battlefield: Infographic

Which popular social media network has the biggest kingdom in the land? Is it Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn? How much of a threat to them are rising forces like Pinterest or Tumblr? Who’s clashing with whom, and why?

To answer such questions and imagine what the new social media battlefield might look like, my talented team at HootSuite recently put together an infographic inspired by Game of Thrones (because we’re all huge fans).

We turned familiar social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Pinterest into Houses in the realm, highlighting some of the interesting new dynamics emerging between the biggest players.
