The CEO of AnyVision, Avi Golan just celebrated a 235 million funding round. He is celebrating by asking the industry to stop providing good wages which he thinks are going to hurt everyone! So, I'm wondering what's it like to work for the guy... In the same line of thinking, I wonder what the conditions are for his own employees. So, as someone who is part of a business model that believes generating value for your employee justifies earning your own salary from your own contributions I find his post.... embarrassing. Why embarrassing? He is head of a company that just got 235 mil. He is preaching to others to set boundaries for other people under their control and scrutiny. He speaks nothing of value gained and given. He got a nice puff piece in the marker today for a tiny post he made in LinkedIn. My response to all and any Anyvision's employees. Jump ship. Why? You are numbers in his calculator and the signs are clear. The employees are bad! bad employees! how dare you ask for good middle class wages! how dare you! Shame on you! Why shame? There are so many other, better leaders. When I told my boss what I want to earn, his response was simple. "If you can generate the company enough value, you can make as much as you wish." - Yehonatan Alfasi That's a real leader. A real leader lifts the people around him into greater performances. A real leader protects and builds his employees' futures. This guy Avi Golan, is showing the opposite based on the post and actions his company has taken. And I ask you, do you know how many people got fired in his company during the corona virus ? I ask you, do you know how much the guy makes? I ask you, do you know what his policy is on sharing profits? I ask you, do you know what real #leadership looks like?
