Darina has been dedicated to Whirlpool Corp. for over 20 years, and she has seen Whirlpool taking strides to support working women. "It has been an amazing journey! There are not many women who have been working for a company for such a long time.” She and her colleagues in Slovakia have created a strong sense of community. As younger employees join Whirlpool, Darina is happy to pass on her experiences and knowledge, and she is motivated by their excitement. Darina has also been supported by her family. “I have been fortunate to feel the support of my husband and the rest of my family in building my career. Earlier this month, #InternationalWomensDay was celebrated at our new Global Technology and Engineering Center (GTEC) in Pune, India. Highlights included personalized messages to the "GTEC Women of Whirlpool Corp.", a talent show, and a presentation from GTEC Leader Radhakrishnan Kodakkal and HR Leader Vani V. Rao where they spoke about the various women influencers in their lives. #BreakTheBias #WomensHistoryMonth
Taylor began her career at Whirlpool Corp. as part of the Brand Immersion Leadership Development Program. The program connected her with a committee sponsor, mentor resources, and a variety of peers that set up a community for her in the Brand Organization and throughout Whirlpool that made her feel like she belonged. Taylor wants to help others build that sense of community and belonging at Whirlpool, so she's become active with our Whirlpool Women's Network Employee Resource Group.

Each year, during #WomensHistoryMonth our Whirlpool Women's Network ERG celebrates the women of Whirlpool Corporation from around the world who exemplify the values: "Be Bold. Be Brilliant. Belong."
Mayra González has nurtured a support system that has carried her through each of her roles at Whirlpool Corporation. She has been a longtime member of the Whirlpool Women’s Network in LAR and this year she has helped to plan the annual symposium for LAR WWN. She has found WWN to be a community where her challenges are recognized and where the members share her passions.
Beyond WWN, Mayra counts on two support systems: “First, colleagues who share the same values, the enduring values of Whirlpool. I know that I can count on them, and they can count on me.” Mayra said. “Second, the support system that I have in my home since I became a mother of two amazing kids, that was a key factor to developing my full potential.”
Mayra has felt this support and wants to pass it on to others by getting to know the people she meets, rather than just their role or function. “I've had different roles within the organization and I believe that a key factor to feeling that you belong is to model Whirlpool's values.”
