As the national vaccination campaign continues across Syria, led by the Ministry of Health, and in partnership with UNICEF and WHO, and support from The Vaccine Alliance – GAVI, targeted efforts are in place to reach even the most remote communities.   Yesterday, the UNICEF Deputy Representative, Ministry of Health Expanded Programme Immunization (EPI) Manager and the Health Director in Rural Damascus conducted a supervisory visit to the campaign in Rural Damascus.   This visit reaffirmed that joint efforts are essential to ensure every child is protected from measles and other vaccine-preventable diseases.   UNICEF commends the tireless dedication of health workers on the ground.   #VaccinesWork #MeaslesVaccination #UNICEF #HealthForAll #ForEveryChild #Syria  Meritxell Relaño Arana UN in Syria Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance
