UNICEF is providing emergency support to children and their families affected by the As-Sweida crisis, with a focus on psychosocial support and social protection in the areas where they have sought refuge, particularly in Rural Damascus. UNICEF mobile teams are providing mental health and psychosocial support — from psychological first aid to safe spaces for children and parenting sessions for caregivers. “When I draw and play, I forget the sad moments we’ve been through. I wish the team could visit us all the time,” says Rasha, 8, at a UNICEF-supported safe space in Rural Damascus. #ForEveryChild, #safety Meritxell Relaño Arana UN in Syria
