UNICEF Haiti’s Post

Between September and October 2025, the number of suspected cholera cases increased by 188%.  Faced with this increase in several localities in the metropolitan area, UNICEF, with the support of its partners, is stepping up its prevention and awareness-raising efforts. More than 6,660 people have been trained on the importance of hand washing and waste management, and approximately 2,015 families living in displacement sites and at-risk areas have already received their cholera kits.  Together, by following hygiene measures, we can protect ourselves against cholera.
