UNICEF Haiti’s Post

Despite the persistent challenges of insecurity, UNICEF remains steadfast in its efforts to protect children and pregnant women. With the support of Gavi, the Government of Japan, and in close partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), a nationwide catch-up vaccination campaign 💉 is currently being implemented across Haiti. In Artibonite, the campaign was launched on 22 September and will run until 3 October. Forty health facilities are already engaged, and to date, more than 1,500 children and 600 pregnant women have received essential vaccinations. #foreverchild 🩵
