Children and young people around the world face growing mental health challenges, yet too often their needs are overlooked. In emergencies, from conflict to climate disasters and displacement, these challenges become even more urgent, putting their ability to cope at risk. That's why UNICEF and partners are calling on governments to put psychosocial support at the heart of every emergency response, because every child has a right to good mental health and well-being. #OnMyMind
100% 💙 Mental health is not an extra, it is a right. We believe that caring for the emotional well-being of children and young people is not only the foundation for their learning, but also extremely important for them to dream and rise to any challenge.
“Powerful message from UNICEF. 🌍 Every child deserves mental health support, especially in times of crisis. Prioritizing psychosocial care isn’t optional — it’s a lifeline for resilience, healing, and hope. 💙 #UNICEF #MentalHealthMatters #OnMyMind #ChildrenFirst #HopeForEveryChild”
UNICEF Really a great message. Mental disorders are intensified in emergency situations like in conflicts or disasters. The affected must be taken care of patiently with proper medicine and counselling. However, some believe that conflicts are the core cause of mental disorders. Lunatics are creating chaos. Who can treat them?? Anyways UNICEF is doing a well-done job. Keep it up. Keep motivating and keep inspiring.
well done
A powerful message from UNICEF. No child should face trauma alone mental health is a right, not a privilege. Expanding community-based counseling and digital outreach programs can make early help available when it’s needed most.

20hThis is a powerful and necessary reminder from UNICEF. The growing mental health challenges faced by children and young people worldwide, particularly those in crisis due to conflict, climate disasters, and displacement, demand immediate attention. When a child's ability to cope is fundamentally at risk, their basic human right to well-being is compromised. The call for governments to place psychosocial support at the heart of every emergency response is not just humanitarian—it is strategic. Healing the mental wounds of trauma is as crucial as providing physical aid for ensuring long-term resilience and stability. #OnMyMind #MentalHealth #ChildWelfare #UNICEF #HumanitarianAid #PsychosocialSupport
