“I am humbled by the drive, resilience and passion of the children and young people I met today who are fighting for change at an early age and having a say in their future. They are truly inspirational and have conquered many challenges to be where they are today. Their journey is an important reminder that we must continue investing in children and young people.” – Sir David Beckham, UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. During his visit to India, Sir David Beckham met young changemakers making a real difference around them, including nine-year-old Tirth, a waste compost champion. He also met 12-year-old Khushi and ten-year-old Rohit, children from some of the most vulnerable communities, for whom football has brought confidence, new skills and a sense of joy and belonging. Their stories show what children and young people can achieve when they are supported and given the chance to lead. UNICEF is working with communities and partners to ensure every child and young person can fulfil their potential and follow their dreams.

Children rise when someone believes in them. UNICEF’s work here reflects exactly what we stand for at PASS: investing in vulnerable youths so they can rewrite their own stories through education and opportunity.

Children are The Future of this world. UNICEF Schedule for Children is great! Blessings....

These stories show how early support can shape confidence and possibility for children. When communities invest in safe spaces and skill building, young people often create their own momentum for change.

The visit highlights how early investment in children builds real capabilities: leadership, emotional health and community resilience. Stories like those of Tirth, Khushi and Rohit show that when safe environments and sustained support exist, children can transform systems from within. UNICEF strengthens these pathways through measurable programmes and local partnerships that ensure every young person advances with dignity and opportunity.

This is incredibly inspiring. Investing in children isn’t just an act of support — it’s an investment in the future of our world. Their bravery, resilience, and leadership at such a young age remind us what’s possible when opportunity meets encouragement. Thank you UNICEF and David Beckham for shining a light on these young changemakers and empowering them to dream bigger, lead confidently, and build brighter futures.

Young voices aren’t the leaders of tomorrow—they are shaping decisions today. Seeing children like Tirth, Khushi, and Rohit drive change reminds us that early support builds confidence, creativity, and community impact. When opportunities are inclusive, even the most vulnerable rise stronger, more skilled, and more hopeful. Investing in children isn’t charity. It’s smart nation-building with lasting social returns. #UNICEF #YouthLeadership #EmpoweringChildren #CommunityImpact #InclusionMatters #HumanitarianSupport #GrassrootsChange #WasteManagement #SportsForDevelopment #FutureBuilders #Changemakers
