Global funding cuts could disrupt access to essential nutrition services for over 14 million children. Behind this number are children like Sanad in Yemen, or Noor, displaced in Bangladesh, who rely on this support to recover from severe acute malnutrition. Good nutrition is the foundation of child survival and development. UNICEF calls on governments and partners to prioritize investments in nutrition so that every child can survive and thrive. https://lnkd.in/gZzXPCU4

When nutrition is cut, it is not just food that is lost, it is the promise of a child’s future. Every meal denied weakens the foundation on which tomorrow stands. The world must remember that nourishing children is not charity, it is wisdom. The strength of every nation begins with the strength of its children.

The global funding cuts are casting a shadow over the lives of 14 million children, threatening to disrupt their access to essential nutrition services. Without urgent support, 2.4 million children suffering from severe acute malnutrition may be denied life-saving therapeutic food. This cut could also shutter UNICEF-supported health centers, leaving countless children vulnerable to malnutrition and its devastating effects.

A sad reality of our time. Hope something forces a change for the sake of the children.
