At least 17 children, including a seven-day-old infant, were reportedly killed in an attack on the Dar al-Arqam Displacement Centre in Al Fasher, North Darfur, Sudan. A further 21 children were reportedly injured. This devastating attack on children and families who were already displaced and seeking safety is an outrage. The killing and maiming of children are grave violations of their rights - and must stop. UNICEF and partners continue to deliver life-saving assistance and protection services for children in Sudan, including health, nutrition, and water and sanitation, despite severe access and security challenges. Also in Sierra Leone, children are going through a lot. Some have me sexually penetrated due to their lack of parental care and homelessness.
Heartbreaking and unacceptable. Children must never be targets in conflict. Protecting their safety and dignity should remain the world’s highest, non-negotiable priority.
This is a heartbreaking message. I hope the future will be more peaceful and the poverty gap will be narrowed
Great. Keep on this precious job UNICEF

Heartbreaking and unacceptable. 💔 No child should ever suffer such violence. Urgent action is needed to protect innocent lives and ensure humanitarian aid reaches those in need.
I deeply value UNICEF’s tireless work in protecting children amid unimaginable violence. As León Gieco sings, "Only ask God that war does not become indifferent to me," we must pray and act to end this monstrous cycle. Until when will we witness such tragedies, and how many more innocents, especially children, must suffer before peace becomes a reality?
It's time to address the Sudan issue. It has completely gotten out of hand. The violence has to stop. The killings have to stop. Sudan needs peace now.
