13-year-old Alisa from Ukraine dreams of becoming an architect to help rebuild her country. Despite the war, a spinal tumor and the negative impact this all had on her mental health, she remains determined to reach her goals. Through our #POWER4Girls programme, UNICEF is supporting girls like Alisa to access skills training and essential services to reach their full potential. #GirlGoals

What an incredible story of resilience 💙✨ At Fundación EDUCA México, A.C. we believe, as you do at UNICEF, that when a girl has access to opportunities and tools, she can transform not only her own life, but also that of her community, and share her story with the whole world. 🌍💪🏼 Let no adversity extinguish the dreams of girls; they are the future we are building today. 💫

So inspiring, Alisa! 💙 Your strength gives hope to many.

Alisa, you are an impressive example of courage and hope. 🙏

Have you ever wondered: How can we turn our dreams into actions that change lives? In a devastated Ukraine, Alisa not only dreams of becoming an architect, but is already volunteering to help those most in need. Her remarkable spirit rises above illness and conflict, inspiring everyone striving for better days. The true impact of a young person is shown when, beyond their dreams, they become support for others. May we see in Alisa’s actions the path to rebuilding hope and humanity.
