After two years of near constant bombardments, destruction and fear, the ceasefire brings long-overdue hope for children and families in Gaza. To continue protecting and prioritizing children’s lives and futures, UNICEF calls for three critical things: maintain the ceasefire, surge all of the needed goods and materials into Gaza, and ensure safe access both for civilians to move and for humanitarians to meet people in need, wherever they are.
There is no ceasefire
The ceasefire is a vital first step, but protecting children requires more than silence between bombs. UNICEF’s call to action is clear and urgent: sustain the ceasefire, unblock humanitarian aid, and ensure safe movement for all. Now is the time for the global community to not just watch, but act, because every delay risks another child's future. #ChildrenInConflict #HumanitarianAccess #ProtectChildren #GazaCeasefire #UNICEF

3dHumanitarian response in Gaza must go beyond statistics and overcome every obstacle to truly change children’s lives. Destroyed hospitals challenge our ability to restore hope, yet global solidarity can break down barriers. Unrestricted access is as vital as the hope that drives us forward. Today calls for unity so that these children’s future is possible, not just a distant dream.
