During this week, Bethany Stirling, International Programs Manager (Child Survival) from UNICEF Australia joined UNICEF Timor-Leste colleagues in visiting Ainaro Municipality to monitor progress in the implementation of UNICEF-supported health, nutrition, SBC and WASH programmes. During the visit, meetings were held with the Ministry of health, and NGO partners. Visits of facilities and community-based activities were also undertaken, to observe how mothers and children are being supported to overcome difficulties to access quality health care. With support from UNICEF Australia, UNICEF has been supporting the Government of Timor-Leste with supplies and technical support, to ensure the good health and nutrition of pregnant mothers and children. #ForEveryChild ©UNICEF Timor-Leste/2025/DMonemnasi UNICEF Australia
