UNICEF Papua New Guinea’s Post

In August, a 4-year-old child in Morobe Province became the first confirmed case of paralysis due to polio after the outbreak was announced. Since then, 4 more confirmed cases have been reported. Polio is real and can cause life-long paralysis to children, but it can be prevented with polio immunization. The polio campaign has been extended to 14th November. Bring your children under 10 for their polio immunization today and let's work together to keep our children safe and healthy. #EndPolio #ForEveryChild #PapuaNewGuinea Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) KSrelief World Health Organization Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade
