UNICEF Papua New Guinea’s Post

On the frontlines of the fight against polio are the community health workers. In Markham District of Morobe Province, Community Health Workers are delivering lifesaving vaccines by traveling through the Markham river. Their willingness and dedication shows why reaching every child is important in making sure their futures are healthy and protected. The polio campaign has been extended to 14th November to ensure that no child is missed. If your child is yet to receive their immunization, visit your nearest health centre or outreach facility today to protect them and help end polio in Papua New Guinea once and for all. #EndPolio #ForEveryChild #PapuaNewGuinea Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) KSrelief World Health Organization Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade
