I'm currently at 9 mile clinic in Port Mosby. This area is actually surrounded by about 50,000 population who are resettled from different provinces. There's a lack of electricity, lack of clean water supply to the house age. This clinic right now is throwing a polio vaccination campaign for children under 10 years of age. Polio has been imported to the Papua New Guinea because of the low routine immunization coverage, every alternate child is not vaccinated. There is about 43% of the children who got routine immunization vaccination. And while we are doing polio vaccination, we are also trying to give routine relation services to all the children below 2 years of age. Children in the PNG needs a healthy start of life and we must act together. This is a call to action to bring all the children together and we must act together to provide all the essential services to the children in PNG.
