"It rained...It was cold... Yet in Maputo, Mozambique, hundreds of adolescent girls filled the air with song as they supported the launch of a nationwide, week-long #HPV vaccination campaign targeting about 3.3 million girls aged 12–18. Their voices turned a grey day bright. They reminded me why this work matters. But vaccines are only the beginning. Too much in adolescent health and wellbeing is still left unsaid. That is why, this Friday, I will launch a 5-part series on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. Addressing some of the elephants in the room." - Samuel Akombeng Ojong, UNICEF Mozambique's Health Manager.
