Lesotho's LNAEP: Empowering Teachers, Parents, and Children

In Lesotho, too many learners move through grades without mastering literacy and numeracy. Thanks to the support of the Global Partnership for Education and UNICEF, the Lesotho National Assessment of Educational Progress (LNAEP) is giving teachers and policymakers the evidence they need to act. With this evidence, the Ministry of Education and Training is reshaping teaching, empowering parents, and strengthening support for #EveryChild’s learning journey. 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Thanks God, we were able to overcome this challenge and learners in those grades are able to read and write through the use of English and Sesotho phonics

These are learners who were in grades 1 and 2 in 2019, we are experiencing after effects of Covid 19, question is how do we rescue this crisis
