Ready, ready. Hi. Did you know that in Ghana, over 3000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every year? Sadly, more than half of them die from it and estimated 1815 deaths were recorded in 2022 alone. This makes cervical cancer. Sacr�� mousse qu'on montre quand ��a ��. Amongst Ganyan women, the leading cause of cervical cancer is a very common virus called HPV or human Papilloma virus. Almost everyone will get it at some point in their lives and it can spread easily. However, many people are unaware that they have it because it often doesn't show any symptoms. But here's the good news, we can prevent it. The Ghana Health Service is introducing the single dose HPV vaccine as part of the nationwide. Immunization program. You just have to take it once and you're safe. The vaccine is most effective when given to God between 9 and 14 years old before they are exposed to the virus. This vaccine is a powerful tool to save lives and ensure girls can grow up strong and healthy. So parents, guardians, and everyone in our community, let's protect every girl's future in Ghana so we can be healthy and pursue our dreams, goals and aspirations. We've said this before and we will say it again. Vaccines save lives.
