Early detection saves lives, but prevention is even more effective. It is important to vaccinate young girls before they are exposed to the virus, and all women who are currently or have been sexually active should make it a priority to get their periodic Pap smears.

Early detection saves lives. Let’s break the silence, encourage vaccination, regular screening and empower women with knowledge to prevent cervical cancer. The aim is to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem worldwide by 2030.
