Young voices are truly shaping the future of education! This week, UNICEF Ghana met with 30 passionate teacher trainees at the Accra College of Education to explore what motivates teachers — and how AI and technology can redefine teaching and learning in Ghana. Their reflections were both honest and inspiring: acknowledging the real challenges ahead, while imagining bold possibilities for AI to support teachers and accelerate learning for every child. The future of teaching is bright — and it starts with them. #Education | Hempel Foundation UNICEF UNICEF Africa Pia Rebello Britto Christin McConnell Christopher Nkrumah ERIC BALANGTAA Let's Talk Foundational Learning Ministry of Education, Ghana Ghana Education Service National Teaching Council

That’s a good program however teachers at the grassroots or rural areas should be included in such trainings and programs. They face the most challenging situations in teaching due to bad network conditions, bad facilities etc . Involving them in meetings like this will help the organization know their needs and how to respond to them . So kindly take my opinion into consideration . Thank you . # unicefghana

Hi, my name is Luciana Pelosini. I am Brazilian and have been living in Ghana for five years. Today I live in Takoradi, but I have also lived in Kumasi and Accra. I worked in Accra at the American International School - AIS, as a swimming coach. I have a degree in Physical Education and a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience. In Brazil, I worked as a Physical Education teacher in public schools, as a Swimming, Artistic Swimming, and Rhythmic Gymnastics teacher. I have extensive experience in creating Educational Projects and as a judge involving these two sports disciplines. Ghana does not yet have any programs for Artistic Swimming and Rhythmic Gymnastics, disciplines that develop and empower girls with psychological, social, and educational improvement. If anyone is interested in being my ally in this project, I am available to talk. This sports project basically links the education of girls for a better future through sport, encompassing the areas of psychology, sexual education, behavioral and social development.

Every child deserves not just education but with the right tools and environment
