UNICEF Cameroon’s Post

🌍 When Health Reaches Beyond Barriers In the remote villages of the Far North Cameroon, where health centers are sometimes more than two hours away on foot, silent heroes like Ferdinand are transforming lives. Trained by UNICEF Cameroon with the financial support from European Union to treat childhood illnesses, Ferdinand travels from village to village, providing essential care to children under five. On October 23rd, he walked 15 km with two mothers and their children to ensure they received vaccinations and nutritional follow-ups. Thanks to his dedication, entire communities now have access to primary healthcare—where once there was only waiting and hope. 💙 384 community workers trained, 24 centers equipped, 194 sites strengthened: this is how UNICEF and its partners are restoring community health. 👉 A powerful reminder that impact begins where commitment meets proximity. 🔗https://shorturl.at/XpxuY Join us in supporting community health initiatives.
