Trained by UNICEF Cameroon through the Early Action project funded by, these youth have become U-Responders—mobilizing their communities, building dykes, setting up alert systems, and even postponing school openings to protect children. But their impact goes beyond emergency response. Through reforestation efforts, clean-up campaigns, and drowning prevention awareness, they are restoring hope and resilience in a region haunted by past tragedies. 💡 This is what climate leadership looks like.
