UNICEF Cameroon’s Post

📱 From paper to pixels: a new era begins for community health in #Cameroon. In the #East Region, where health workers once relied on handwritten reports, a digital transformation is underway. Thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea–funded project, UNICEF Cameroon has equipped community health actors in #Mandjou and #Garoua-Boulai with tablets — a major leap forward for real-time data collection in Child-Friendly Municipalities. 👩⚕️ After the handover, health workers received hands-on training to use digital tools for monthly reporting, improving data accuracy, timeliness, and decision-making during the critical 1,000 days of a child’s life. This initiative empowers frontline workers, strengthens maternal and newborn care, and brings us closer to equitable health outcomes for all. 📢 Let’s celebrate this milestone. Share the story. Support digital health for every community. #UNICEF #DigitalHealth #Cameroon #ChildFriendlyMunicipalities #RepublicOfKorea #MaternalHealth #NewbornCare #InnovationForImpact #SDG3 #HealthEquity
