"The enemy is fear. We think it is hate, but it is fear." (Gandhi) There has been misinformation on social media that I am supposedly not vaccinated. In fact, my wife and I have both received 3 doses of the #BioNTech #Pfizer vaccine. For several months now, friends have been urging me to post a photo of me being vaccinated to address these false rumors. Until now, I had refused to do so, as I believe that my communication should not be about me. I believe that my communication should contribute to scientific transparency and provide data, facts and insights. This week, I had planned to write an update about our early data on the #Omicron variant and how we are preparing so that we are ready to react immediately if the strain becomes dominant. The data from our lab tests, as well as from many other experts, indicates that boosters with the current vaccine improve immune responses against the #Delta and spreading Omicron variant. A large study published yesterday in #NEJM (link below) underlines that boosters do help to save lives. I also wanted to explain that we started developing a vaccine to address the Omicron variant, irrespective of whether it will be needed or not, how long it will take to be developed, and that it’s important not to wait for the new vaccine but to continue with booster vaccinations as the data show. However, a call last week changed my mind. I was deeply saddened to learn that an old school friend of mine is currently fighting for his life. He is fighting against severe COVID-19 and has been on a ventilator for 3 weeks. I learned from his wife that he and his family were not vaccinated. I did not ask why they made this decision. People have different, personal reasons. However, the most common root cause seems to be fear, often fueled by misinformation and distrust. Fear is not rational, yet it always feels real and justified. It is people's fear that often turns into anger and hate. Fear is hard to combat with facts and figures. Sometimes fear can be better defeated by sharing personal experiences. Therefore, to reach out to those who are struggling personally with their fears, I would like to share a picture showing my COVID-19 vaccination in early 2021. #science #covid Link to NEJM article: https://lnkd.in/dU6Af8Sv

The big problem is TRUST not fear. Pfizer are well known as a criminal organisation, I'm sure you already know that! they have already paid billions over the years for data manipulation and bribery, not to mention they have blood on their hands for testing drugs on Nigerian children without the parents consent, who many died - which they were found guilty off and paid a big fine (no one went to jail for it) ! So when an organisation like this who have 0 liability and manipulate the media, politicians and medical professionals in order to make billions - you tell me should they be trusted?

First of all: it is not a vaccine! Just looking at the history of the word Vaccine for chicken pox - vaccine should protect you from getting a virus. This one should be sued for unlawful use of word vaccine in the first place! I just had COVID and it is not pleasant and I also believe it can be dangerous to some groups of people. For me though: Natural medicine like garlic, ginger supported by some aspirin was just enough to get back on my feet. I still would not take any of the „vaccines“ out there in the market and I am perturbed by the pressure put on all of us, parents, family members, employees! The effects of this incredible split in societies have and will have enormous impact for years to come. I am not against vaccinations, I have the important ones myself. But I was able to get lots of data and information on each of them before I made my OWN decision to take it; being it because of travels or any other reason. I am asking this question again and again: why aren’t we talking about the corona medication, which is available in so many forms? When you have COVID you are left completely on your own because there is no treatment that doctors prescribe..but on the other hand you are pushed to your limits to take a jab.

It was your choice. Why do you want to make it for me, then? If I die, I will die, not you, since you are “protected”. All the other “unprocteted” choose the same risk. Live and let others live the way they see fit.

I'm not afraid, I don't want any of your vaccines injected into my body ...... Not now, not ever. Please let us decide for ourselves! Why don't you leave it up to us? Maybe I'm more afraid of your vaccine than the flu ...... No matter what it is called in the media! Maybe you should also give this vaccine to those who are at risk, but not for everyone and certainly not for children. Please have mercy on those who haven't had their shots yet and don't push the government to buy as many vaccines as possible ...... We have heard that this vaccine has just been "conditionally approved" again and probably for a reason!" . You are the one spreading fear with the new variant ...... Without your propaganda no one would even know about it and most likely wouldn't notice!" .

Good for him and his show of ….. I have in family personal expereince similar to Valerie of having a family member react to the vaccine. Also had another that didn’t….. statistics aside, the vaccine is stated to reduce the effects of the virus, although 99.6% survive. Kind of goes back to, what’s the survival rate of cancer or heart disease…. I heard a Dr say, “we are all going to pass away, part of life’s cycle and can’t stop the inevitable”. I think maybe slow it! Also, back to statistics, the death rate for the USA has only slightly increased year over year since 2014, and there was NOT a jump for 2020 as one would expect! So, to deduce from that statistic, how many “Deaths” from heartattavks or lung cancer or other cancers have been classified as Covid? Also, the number of flu deaths dropped in 2020 and 2021 from prior years…. Just quoting posted factual comparative numbers to hopefully get someone to think or post opposing stuff.

The fundamental principle of responsibility is that choice must be linked with consequences/outcome. This applies to most things in life including the covid vaccine. If I choose not to get vaccinated, I should pay full price for the medical care (no subsidies from the state) should I require it. This way, there is no moral hazard whereby the action of the individual is divorced from the consequences of that action. In Singapore, vaccination is a choice but should you choose not to get vaccinated and require extensive medical care, you pay full price as if it were a private hospital.

My claims are my personal opinions based on best data out there: my own case. Please read carefully what I wrote- thank you. I am not diminishing the danger of COVID for some groups of people. Same should be done for vaccines: stating the danger and possible adverse effects for people with other health conditions. How can it be that you go furniture shopping and get a vaccine in front of the store and as a „thank you gift“ you get a curry wurst ? This is ludacris and you know it. Where is the explaination, where is the responsibility towards patients with other diseases? What about kids? How can they be asked if they want the jab?! At: Wojciech Koczara

DANKE!
