This is a volcano account now
Incredible images! I'd love to get a better understanding of what the specs are on these images. Does Umbra provide fully polarimetric datasets? What's the resolution and look angles? Are these tasked images or part of a regular pass of the satellite? or is this aerial SAR?
Absolutely gorgeous. I remember 8 years ago literally the only images publicly available from Sentinel (and therefore from anywhere) were a few volcano monitoring datasets..
So like, if a supervolcano explodes and is going to destroy the Earth, you're the first to know?
Always wondered why we never had one of these .....?
We all knew you’d find your calling.
All started with Tanna Island… 🌋
Wow! Can you do Mount Etna and Vesuvius? And maybe Mount St. Helens with larger debris flow areas?
You can get some good information on cap expansion from using SAR and amplitude change detection.
Beautiful!

9moNeed to add some Alaskan volcanoes 🌋 to the mix. They are pretty scenic too 😄. #GoldenAgeOfSAR
