Windows has always stood for sovereignty for creators and agency for consumers, and with Windows 11 we have a renewed sense of Windows’ role in the world.

But can I still play Minesweeper on it?

If I could only add ONE wish-list item to add to this quote from Satya - "We need to be empowered to choose the applications we run, the content we consume, the people we connect to and even how we allocate our own attention" + ... "AND TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE AMOUNT OF DATA THAT Microsoft COLLECTS FROM OUR DEVICES IN THE NAME OF Telemetry, INCLUDING THE OPTION TO SAY "NONE WHATSOEVER."

Well, at least ensure that it runs on the hardware you have in the market! I am extremely frustrated by how much slower my Windows 10 has become since I bought my laptop with i3 processor just 3yrs back! Those performance degrading updates are worst! Give us the option to choose if or not we want to upgrade instead of forcing us to do so and in turn forcing us to upgrade our system every couple of years! For now, next time I change my system, I am seriously considering getting Linux!

Close your eyes, and you hear Tyrion Lannister with a goblet in his hand, talking about .... windows 11 :). Is it just me?

So far I've seen it includes random pop up adverts.... This is all a big step backwards.... I don't want crap shoved down my throat that is why we have pop up blockers yet it is becoming commonplace in windows in even its current iteration. I personally prefer windows ten fold over ios and I have love for Linux but still prefer windows but if its as I have seen it so far with rubbish popping up I don't want to see even more so than I already get in windows 10 I think I may be forced to a less push down your throat os. I hope you take on board my comments and they are helpful

Well Sir , I am not a critique but unfortunately I am forced to say(after reviewing windows 11) please let windows convince us not your vocabulary. We(subjective) all know windows 11 is all about finding reasons to use it. Sorry. Windows belover.

I was very excited to upgrade all new windows 11. When i executed pc health check app it was showing processor isn’t supported for windows 11. Only reason for this is my intel processor version is 7th generation. I can understand about the other requirements for the device security, but not giving support for 6th and 7th geneation intel processors is the bad idea. Many of your users will come under this category and they are forced to buy new machines. Anyway thanks for giving support for windows 10 till 2025 mid. It is a good idea that users like me to move Mac OS. I wondered all times how the company giving support for ios and Mac devices. Thing is that ios 15 still going to come on iphone 6 devices and mac OS 12 will support mac pro 2013 devices.

My company just upgraded all their systems to windows 10 and this happened. Just wondering how long windows 11 will take to become an industry standard. Do note that I do work in an automotive industry and adapting to the latest and greatest in the software front is a bit slow here. Idk if it is the same in another industry though.

Satya Nadella , thanks for this video. My first PC ran an Intel 286 processor. I was really excited by Windows 3.0 and then 3.1. I truly felt something groundbreaking was happening, and I absorbed articles from PC Magazine and others. I even taught myself Windows programming (which proved handy during my PhD). But somewhere along the line I lost enthusiasm for Windows and switched to Mac. I would love to know why Windows 11 is different and how (if at all) it generates that feeling of inspiration that consumed me all those years ago.
