It’s a wrap on another amazing #ASUGSVSummit in San Diego! Our Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Education team hosted over a dozen demos, breakout sessions, panel conversations, meetings, and more. Congrats to the ASU-GSV Summit team and our CZI team on all the hard work to prepare! It was so inspiring and invigorating to learn from educators, edtech developers, and entrepreneurs who are exploring the transformative power of AI in education. 3 quick takeaways: 1️⃣ Educators are navigating a fragmented edtech landscape. AI tools have the potential to drive instructional coherence and help teachers connect students with the right resources at the right time. 2️⃣ We have to balance speed with impact — and provide resources so that edtech developers can more easily build AI-powered tools that uphold academic rigor and align with state standards. 3️⃣ Without rigorous evaluation, we risk innovation without impact. We need new ways to measure quality, embed expertise, and ensure AI serves learning.
