This time last month, I was in a #mosque talking about #cancer prevention. Today, I was invited to a #church as a guest speaker. It was indeed a great session as I spoke on #stress - causes, consequences and coping strategies. One of the highlights of my discussion is that stress is inevitable and not all stress are bad. The positive stress #Eustress is needed for optimum daily activities and productivity while negative stress #distress produces adverse outcomes. Also, stress must be properly managed and I rounded off with prevention and stress coping techniques. So much information was shared and the feedback from the audience was quite interesting and phenomenal. This is one of the very many reasons I am glad and proud to be a #publichealth physician. Special thanks to the organising wellness team, the pastorate and all members of RCCG Dominion Chapel, Arepo Ogun State for the invitation and warm welcome.
