You can have the world's greatest content, but nobody will read it without a solid hook. But as crucial as hook writing is, most advice is generic, vague, and ineffective. So I'm stepping in. I've listed out and templatized some of the best social media hooks I've ever seen so you can snatch reader attention in an instant.
you are on fire!!
These are so helpful and so easy to implement. What do you think about my brand design strategies that I just shared? They go hand in hand with the right hook
One thing to keep in mind is that people who use LinkedIn from mobile will see only the first line so that needs to be enough to convince them to read more.
Yes, Sam. This is absolutely helpful. Already writing down hooks for future posts in my group. I’m curious, where do you get your hook ideas from? :)
Without a good hook, you won't catch a lot of fish. (And yes, I just called us fishes.)
People will stop scrolling only when they feel there's value for them in your content. Your hook/headline is a game changer. I totally agree with you here that vague hooks, intended for a large group of audience are useless as trash. If you put up specific issue in each hook, it will never fail to catch the attention of the right audience.
Respectfully disagree with you, Sam. A Stanford study says just 1% of all social media content ultimately becomes viral. 😀
