Hello everyone, I wanted to share a personal story with you all. Around seven months ago, I made a big leap and relocated to Luxembourg for a new job opportunity. It has been an incredible journey filled with memorable experiences. From attempting to cook my first raw/burnt chapati to navigating the challenging housing market and building new friendships in a foreign country, I embraced it all. However, my time of tranquility was cut short due to the current challenges in the tech industry, and I found myself being laid off. The sudden news was undoubtedly a challenging moment, but I am grateful for the unwavering support I received from my team. Even during my brief tenure, I acquired valuable lessons and insights. Determined to find my next venture, I embarked on a journey of resilience and exploration (with a fair share of traveling 😛). That's when I stumbled upon an exciting opportunity at #bookingcom. As someone who has always been captivated by Booking's A/B testing framework, I delved deep into the possibility. The interview process proved to be a unique experience, providing me with invaluable learning opportunities through regular feedback sessions and unwavering support from Cansu Kavukcu. Today, I'm thrilled to announce that I have joined Booking as a Software Engineer II at their new Amsterdam Campus and I am so looking forward to what's in store for me here. The attached picture was taken by me three months ago when I visited Amsterdam and caught a glimpse of the impressive Booking.com office. This moment happened just two weeks after my layoff, and I was just beginning the interview process. To all those currently facing challenges in this competitive job market, I want to assure you that things do get better. Keep pushing forward, and success will come your way. Hi Connections, I recently had a chance to talk about the #codeforgood hackathon conducted by JPMorgan Chase & Co. What happens at a code for good hackathon? At a Code for Good hackathon, student collaborate with other coders to develop innovative technology solutions for nonprofit organizations. We also learn about starting a Technology career with JPMorgan Chase & Co. while being guided by the sharpest minds in the industry. This event gave me chance to not only work with some brilliant minds all around the country under the guidance from some amazing people from JPMorgan Chase & Co. This helped me get an internship in Software Engineer Intern Program 2021 at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Thank you JPMorgan Chase & Co. for conducting such an amazing event that helps us give something back to the societies and help NGO's. Kudos to #codeforgood JPMorgan Chase & Co. for this initiative. Thank you viomesh singh for this opportunity, it felt really special to relive those moments. Hello Everyone, I am excited to share that I have been accepted in the #mentors team for MIT COVID-19 Challenge: India Turning the Tide. This challenge is the next hackathon under the COVID 19 challenge series conducted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology to develop innovative solutions that can help tackle the most critical unmet needs that have arisen now due to the pandemic. Over the course of next 48 hours I will be mentoring participants to help them develop solutions in accordance with the problem statement chosen by them. #hackathon #hackathonessentials #planning 1. Hey Everyone! I am delighted to share that my team Error 418 - I am a Teapot finished off as finalists in Code For Good 2020 (13th - 17th Aug) organised by JPMorgan Chase & Co.. We were given the task to build a solution for easy data keeping and visualization of the data for Inqui-Lab Foundation. We were split into teams and me along with Ansh Garg,Anuj Raghani,Rohit Sadavarte,Prasanna Lakshmi Maram,Madhuri Veeramreddy,Arunteja Reddy Gopireddy tried to build a progressive web app for the foundation. It was really amazing to work with such talented and eager-to-learn teammates. I would also like to express my deep gratitude to our team mentors Dhamodharan Ramalingam,Ravindranathnetha Rapolu for all their help, support and motivation. A big thanks to InsideSherpa for their wonderful #virtualinternship program. I just completed my virtual internship with JPMorgan Chase & Co. I got to know how companies this big enable their employees to work on diverse range of solutions especially the state-of-the-art technologies. I learnt about the JP Morgan Chase framework and applied my python, front end skills to establish Financial data feeds and got insights on how data visualization takes place in these Multi-billion dollar companies.
