Perhaps my tweet about DeSantis last week hit the nerve of the fascism now taking root in the Republican Party? The size of the blowback makes me think so.
Anyone who thinks that DeSantis is a better alternative than Trump is still from the WAAAAY too repressive winglet of the right wing. He does NOT represent true Conservative values!

I agree with you. Interesting that one characteristic of fascist leaders is taking rights away from various identity groups, starting with women. 2yIf anyone has read the "anti-riot" legislation bill in Florida what you are likely to find is wording on things like right to protest or free-assembly being altered to "rioting" or "mob" and attempt to restrict protests. "Civil rights and social justice groups said it's an unconstitutional attack on free speech.
