Many Families Struggle To Make Their SNAP/EBT Benefits Last Families using SNAP/EBT tend to buy more food at the beginning of the month, with more than 25% of beneficiary households redeeming their entire monthly allotment within the first week of receiving it. 86% of families use up their full benefits within the first two weeks.
