"One of the things that's interesting about the Prime Video Sports org is that we are a relatively new business for Amazon, but we're not a new business in the industry as a whole. Sports broadcasting has been around for a long time, but we are part of a wave of really revolutionizing how sports broadcasting operates because instead of being through network TV, it's through over-the-top services like Prime Video," says Nell Waliczek, Principal Engineer with Prime Video Sports. "I think we've had to push the state of the art in how we deliver video content live quickly and at scale. Because of the volume of people who are interested in watching Thursday Night Football, that's a very different scale of a lot of problems that can be solved out there. Take a look behind the scenes with EMEA Events Lead, Adam Heyhurst, at a special screening on the set of Good Omens in Scotland. The team oversees events for Prime Video and Amazon Studios in the region, creating bespoke experiences for fans, creators, and the media to drive awareness, conversation and buzz about Prime Video’s upcoming shows and movies. For the launch of Good Omens season 2, Adam explained, “It’s not every day you go searching the cupboards on-set at Amazon Studios for some props, only to find an entire street.
