Plus, who doesn't love a good pair of pajamas? 👉 "SEO is a one-time thing, right? You just do it and you're done?" Oh, if only that were the case. SEO is an ongoing process that requires constant monitoring and tweaking. 👉 "SEO is just a scam to get businesses to pay for something they don't really need, right?" Um, no. People think being an SEO freelancer is easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy. But it's more like a rollercoaster ride - lots of ups and downs, and a whole lotta screaming.

2yI did consulting for a while and it served me a really well when it comes to developing my non SEO skills like communication and negotiation. What I experienced is, Doing actual SEO task is just about 20%-30% of your total dedicated time. Around 30% of the time also goes in discovery calls and qualifying your leads well. Rest 40% includes project management, admin work like contracts, invoices, creating processes etc.
