At 10am today, all of Google Staffing got an email that there would be a meeting at Noon - it said there was going to be hard news and we should work from home. Too late as I was already close to Penn Station. I figured nothing good would come of the meeting, but tried to stay positive as those minutes until the meeting went on - feeling like hours. Through all of the layoffs at Google and elsewhere, I had hoped that I would somehow, for some reason remain safe. Sadly, that did not happen today. If I have ever been your Recruiter, Manager, colleague, teammate, or friend, I would appreciate your support, an endorsement, and any connections you want to make. I have a deep passion for talent, recruitment, HR and compensation, and am eager to find my next home.
