The University of the Witwatersrand in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar will host the Indo-South African Workshop on #Water #Energy Nexus in Process Industries on 20 and 21 April. The first two sessions of the Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) Service Provider training took place on 23 and 24 March. Gaps for the provision of services to industrial parks including #RECP #opportunities were explored.   On 30 and 31 March, we will be hosting two more sessions to expand on how industrial park service providers can tap into the opportunities offered by transitioning to EIPs.   Register to join the sessions on this link https://lnkd.in/eKcMSVHh.

Industrial park management often grapple with many challenges including poor #wastemanagement practices such as illegal dumping, #water and #energy inefficiencies. Eco-Industrial Park approaches improve parks' facilities that equip management and tenant companies with tools to mitigate these challenges to benefit the environment and improve bottomlines.
