Should Your B2B Lead Gen Campaigns Use Website Forms or LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms? 🤔 It’s a question we get asked all the time from marketers trying to build their sales pipeline with LinkedIn Ads. So naturally…we tested it. Here’s some key insights: 1. We began with Website Traffic Campaigns - Initially, we drove traffic to a client's website where leads filled out a form. The cost per lead? A whopping $1,000 on average. 😱 2. So, we pivoted our strategy and made three important changes. This included… (A) Shifting campaign objective from traffic + conversions to LinkedIn Lead Generation Campaigns within LinkedIn's Campaign Manager. (B) Refining our audience targeting based off qualified leads sales data we had collected to that point (C) Optimizing our ad format by using single image ads with LinkedIn's native lead gen forms. If you’re reading this far…you are ready for the results. The cost per lead dropped dramatically from $1,000 to just over $60. 🚀 What’s the key takeaway? Using LinkedIn's lead gen forms helped us significantly reduce our cost per lead while streamlining the lead collection process. 👉 For more best practices, visit https://lnkd.in/eBAy7f4v #LinkedInAds #CertifiedMarketingExperts LinkedIn for Marketing

Let's fairy Go Nice work Much love
Love the creativity here, great work!
Nathan Adams Smart shift. More marketers need to test friction, not just funnels.
Good insights, I would run a website visit(may be consideration) and lead gen in parallel. You could have also narrowed down the audience in the website visit campaign itself! But I agree on lead gen part, it is cost-effective!
How about the leads quality in the 2 cases?
LinkedIn lead gen campaign are really effective. Luckily for me, the CPL is consistently within $50 - $60*
Golden nuggets right here! Still can't wrap my head around why using video makes conversions SO MUCH more expensive than using single images, on average 😅 I know this was not the only change you made, but just one of my own observations. And handsome as always - great stuff mate.
Right! That momentum turns small steps into big wins over time.
