Lifelong Learning is not optional anymore, it's essential for success. At Microsoft, we believe that the value of skilling and development of our employees cannot be emphasized enough. In my role as Chief Learning Officer, I'm committed to inspiring people to get involved in skilling. That's why I'm kicking off my first own audiocast #LearnTwoGrow (German for now). I'll share my thoughts, ideas and personal experiences around the topic and exchange ideas with my guests and listeners. I'm sharing more context in my article here and for the German speaking folks, over at our #Microsoft newscenter: https://lnkd.in/g3ZWsHN Please comment under this post for feedback or suggestions for future topics or guests. #LearningInAction #CLO #SkillingForTheFuture #podcast
Looking forward to the next episode of your Podcast! 🙏 It's an interesting topic for me because we have started a learning community with Pluralsight internally. It was one of my main projects the last 6 months. Thank you for your support ❤ Markus E. Felix & Katharina Brodowski Edit: Translated from german to english
Thank you for this very inspiring first session, dear Mohanna 👏 Being an absolute learn-freak myself, I am so happy to see how the importance of this topic & your role has developed over time...I still remember the beginning... When talking about implementing lifelong learning, I guess it is very important to note that this requires a huge change process in any given company - as you also state in the interview. And change can only be successful with strong leadership...these are skills that one might think have nothing to do with Microsoft. You know, I have a very different opinion: I would love to see Microsoft as a thought leader for the digital transformation of their partners & customers & this requires a much broader view on skilling then "just" technological skills. I see a special demand in SMEs & would love to hear more about that as well as voices from your customers & partners in the next episodes.
Great initiative!
Ganz starke Idee und toller Ansatz. Freue mich auf die zukünftigen Folgen.
Thank you Pina Meisel for being my very first guest! Thank you Johanna Ronsdorf for your support setting behind the scenes!

3yHi Mohanna, thanks for sharing your experiences! Having grown up in a world where the grey family phone was sticking to the wall, I am happy that lifelong learning helped me becoming a digital entrepreneur. I suggest you interview Kathrin Kroenig about the power of nudges in learning. It makes so much more fun than ridgid learning and is much more effective.
