Welcome Forest Gayte Pride 2022, which starts today. This fantastic 3-day festival of Queer Pride returns with a series of events at favourite local venues and some of East London’s most influential Queers, bringing a celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture to Newham. If you attend you’ll see these amazing pieces of street art - the Pride flag, the Transgender flag & the Progress flag. The idea for these came from local resident Rob and this became a community voted project as part of the Community Assembly. Our highways team happily installed the flags earlier in the week.
